About The Position

This is a full-time, temporary position estimated to end on 03/01/2027. As a Client Care Aide II, you will provide ADL care to residents, including but not limited to sitter 1:1 with residents, ambulation, ROM, dressing, toileting, bathing, transferring, positioning, lifting, skin care, and/or assisting with feeding. You will also be responsible for the care of resident belongings and room cleanliness, ensuring organized and clutter-free areas. Adherence to proper infection control practices using standard precautions is required. You will communicate with others to ensure proper resident care and work completion, and maintain resident care and equipment, such as cleaning oxygen concentrators, filling portable oxygen tanks, maintaining/disinfecting tubs and showers, and changing lift batteries. Reporting pertinent care issues to the charge nurse, including skin condition, falls, family concerns, and behaviors, is essential. All necessary documentation for the shift must be completed in the electronic health record, including intake sheets, bath sheets, WEIGHTS, vital signs, and bowel movements. Occasional transportation of residents will be required, necessitating a driver's license.

Requirements

  • Current & active Certified Nurse Aide license renewal required
  • CPR certified
  • Vaccinations as required by the State and facility
  • High school diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED)
  • One year of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position
  • Possess a valid, non-restricted Colorado Driver’s License
  • State of Colorado residency at the time of application and residency within the state throughout the duration of employment in this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Current, valid certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies will substitute for the high school diploma or GED
  • Current, valid licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies or any state participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact will substitute for the experience requirement
  • Relevant years of state service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the charge nurse as to pertinent care issues: skin condition, falls, family concerns, and behaviors.
  • Complete all documentation necessary for shift in the electronic health record, including but not limited to, intake sheets, bath sheets, WEIGHTS, vital signs, and bowel movements.
  • Occasionally transport residents.
