As a Client Associate, you will work closely with an Investment Advisor at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business. You will directly engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time Monday through Friday. The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $48,880 to $56,980. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. Requirements

  • Current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
  • 3+ years of Brokerage industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolios and develop new business in collaboration with an Investment Advisor.
  • Directly engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience.
  • Focus on each client's experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
  • Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with your team to build trust and deepen client relationships.
