About The Position

As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for building and growing Wood Gundy client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice and exceptional client service. As a Financial Associate, you will work closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business. You will directly engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Certified professional with current accreditation and in good standing as a Registered Representative (RR) licensing with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
  • A minimum of 3 years of Brokerage industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of various quotation equipment is required.

  • Building and growing Wood Gundy client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice and exceptional client service.
  • Working closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business.
  • Directly engaging with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience.
  • Focus on each client's experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
  • Anticipating client needs and communicating promptly with your team to build trust and deepen client relationships.
  • Identifying activities, processes, and opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Proactively identifying business opportunities for your team.
  • Assisting in the building of investment plans based on the client’s profile, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.
  • Heightening CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.
  • Growing your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.
