The primary role of the Analyst is to be responsible for all aspects of the analysis including designing and executing models, analyzing results, simulating client plans, creating deliverable materials, and supporting presentation/training/tool delivery. This role drives client value by conducting required research and analysis to identify trends and patterns in data to glean insights aligned to client business issues and formulating findings into a story. The Analyst will thoroughly perform quality assessments on large datasets, quickly assessing potential errors and developing solutions to address them. They will create Excel and PowerPoint deliverables in addition to deliverables in NielsenIQ proprietary software solutions, ensuring error-free, on-time results. The Analyst will work consultatively and creatively with clients and NielsenIQ teams, creating and executing tasks detailed on a project plan including collecting, organizing, and tracking data inputs as well as leading internal meetings. They will develop mastery of proprietary NielsenIQ tools and metrics to help solve client's most pressing business questions. Success in this role is measured by ensuring quality and timeliness of delivery, delivering work efficiently and seeking opportunities to increase efficiency, executing work assigned independently and managing workload effectively, being a collaborative team member receiving positive feedback, proactively identifying client issues and solutions, pushing the envelope by sharing new ideas & creative solutions, learning about retail clients and analytic solutions, and possessing an analytical mindset with strong communication skills.
