Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Program Director, the Client Aide has the responsibility to engage with patients and to assist in delivering personalized attention and support to patients living at the Cecil Hotel / Safe Landing Program. The Client Aide will help patients with daily living activities, mobility assistant, medication reminders, companionship, light housekeeping, safety monitoring, and promote physical, mental and emotional well-being. Program Population: The Cecil Hotel/Safe Landing is an Interim Housing program that aids homeless individuals in their recovery journey, helping them improve their health conditions and enhance their social and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills. Some of these individuals may also grapple with mental health and substance use issues, which can occasionally manifest in behaviors such as yelling, using strong language, and displaying anger outbursts. The core responsibility of each staff member at the Cecil Hotel is to support clients in overcoming obstacles and improving their coping mechanisms, thereby reducing negative behaviors.
