Requirements

  • Expertly managing the internal service process and relationships for assigned property and casualty clients in our Life Science & Digital Healthcare Practice.
  • Assessing client's risk profile to determine risk and insurance needs and go-to-market strategy.
  • Developing and nurturing market and carrier relationships within the industries being serviced.
  • Staying up to date with FDA news, regulations and biotechnology industry trends that directly, or indirectly impact our clientele.
  • Partnering with production teams to establish and maintain aligned service offerings and delivery of client needs.
  • Independently preparing for, planning and conducting client meetings, including Renewal Strategy, Proposal and/or Client Stewardship.
  • Brokering and negotiating insurance lines of coverage, including complex Products Liability placements, directly with insurance markets when possible, while also strategically using wholesalers when in the best interest of the client.
  • Managing preparation of new business RFP’s; marketing new and renewal accounts; developing and managing service calendars and preparing presentations for new clients.
  • Providing strategic management new and renewal business risk identification and program design (including contract and claims history review).
  • Participating in prospecting activities to both identify and close new business.
  • Performing as a subject matter expert and advanced resource. Keeping abreast of industry trends, changing markets, reviewing and mastering new or evolving specializations, policies or products.
  • Performing thorough contract reviews for clients.
  • Performing database file management and input information. Accurately managing and maintaining documents in agency management systems.
  • Providing mentoring and coaching, as appropriate, to Account Managers and Account Coordinators.
  • Performing other special projects as assigned.
