About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Advisor Manager to lead a dynamic team, guide client advisory efforts, and ensure clients receive top-notch service. The role involves monitoring client satisfaction, proactively delivering solutions, and collaborating with the sales team for client advisor assignments and smooth transitions. The manager will promote a 'OnePCS' mindset, build relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), and manage carrier relationships, including contract changes and underwriting guidelines. Responsibilities include forecasting, performance reviews, handling client communications and presentations, participating in hiring, analyzing workload, managing resources, conducting staff meetings and one-on-ones, and assisting with complex client or underwriting issues. A key focus is on colleague development, training, and succession planning. The role also involves monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for financial results, developing business plans for referrals and cross-selling, managing reporting requirements, and leading a hybrid workforce. The manager will embrace change, adapt as needed, reinforce the Marsh McLennan Agency Private Client Service vision, and provide clear leadership during transitions.

Requirements

  • Personal lines insurance experience with High-Net-Worth clientele
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) License
  • Client service orientation with balance on managing expectations.
  • Ability to travel for client and company meetings as needed
  • 5+ years experience managing individuals and team goals
  • 3-5+ years personal insurance background required with client facing experience
  • Demonstrate an understanding of cultivating opportunities from within their client’s centers of influence

Responsibilities

  • Guide client advisory efforts and ensure clients receive top-notch service.
  • Keep a pulse on client satisfaction, proactively delivering solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to assign client advisors and manage smooth transitions.
  • Work collaboratively with various business units to promote a OnePCS mindset and build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs).
  • Take charge of forecasting and conducting performance reviews, addressing any underperformance.
  • Manage relationships with local and regional carriers, staying informed about contract changes and underwriting guidelines.
  • Oversee the audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle client communications and presentations.
  • Participate in hiring and interviewing processes.
  • Analyze workload and manage resources effectively.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and one-on-ones to foster development.
  • Participate in advisory reviews for larger clients and assist in resolving complex client or underwriting issues.
  • Focus on colleague development, training, and succession planning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver solid financial results.
  • Develop business plans that set clear goals for referrals, new business, and cross-selling opportunities for Client Advisors.
  • Manage reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
