About The Position

The Client Advisor role focuses on building strong customer relationships, understanding their financial goals, and matching them with Seacoast Bank's products and services. This position involves explaining products, closing sales, asking for referrals, and participating in community events. The role also requires proficiency in customer-facing technology and a commitment to teamwork and ethical conduct. Additionally, the Client Advisor is responsible for operational tasks such as opening and maintaining accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring adherence to banking policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
  • PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree or 1+ years in retail sales and/or financial services experience required.
  • Actively pursue NMLS registration status.
  • Build proficiencies in all consumer deposit and lending products and processes.
  • Develop an introductory understanding of small business deposit and lending products and processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in outbound calling process.
  • Develop skills to identify referral opportunities with internal business partners.
  • Display proficiency in Customer facing technology with the ability to discuss with and enroll customers in self-service products/processes.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit consistent relationship building including preparing for customer interactions, building rapport, and effectively using questions to understand customer needs.
  • Match customer needs to Seacoast Bank products and services and confidently explain them.
  • Close sales based on customer needs and ask for referrals from new and existing customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and requests, seeking out appropriate people for complex financial matters.
  • Balance business needs with customer requests while managing potential risk to the bank.
  • Embrace new technology and stay updated on industry changes to foster idea generation and innovation.
  • Participate in community, charitable, or civic events and deliver presentations on banking products/services.
  • Exhibit strong work ethics and teamwork, collaborating with associates across the organization.
  • Actively pursue NMLS registration status.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in outbound calling processes and identify referral opportunities with internal business partners.
  • Open and process accounts, perform account maintenance, and process transactions adhering to bank policies and procedures, including AML/BSA requirements.
  • Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements, audit procedures, dual control, security, Business Continuity, and other regulated banking requirements.
  • Review and adhere to branch operational procedures and controls, communicating updates to associates.
  • Follow up on all audit deficiencies.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and monitor work for accuracy.
  • Follow instructions and respond to management direction to resolve customer objections and solve problems.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct and follow all safety and security procedures.
