About The Position

Twin Falls Subaru is hiring a Client Advisor for our Trade Up Advantage program. In this role, you will engage with happy Subaru owners in the service lounge, presenting them with good news about their vehicle's value and potential to trade up to a new Subaru. You will pull personalized Trade Up Advantage sheets from Subaru CareConnect, explain the manufacturer's estimate of their current Subaru's worth, and discuss their options. This is not a role focused on cold-calling, final number crunching, or financing. When a guest expresses interest in an exact figure, exploring other vehicles, or moving forward, you will introduce them to a sales representative. The position emphasizes building relationships with loyal Subaru owners, acting as a friendly point of contact during their service visits. It is a non-hard-sell role that requires patience and the ability to plant seeds for future opportunities, with follow-up and consistency being key to success. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with the service team.

Requirements

  • Genuinely friendly and trustworthy demeanor
  • Patience and ability to focus on planting seeds rather than instant gratification
  • Ability to explain simple information clearly
  • Sufficient organization to track conversations and follow up
  • Willingness to learn the CareConnect system and the Trade Up Advantage process
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to strike up a conversation with anyone
  • Comfortable planting seeds without needing an instant win

Nice To Haves

  • Car experience is not required
  • Backgrounds in retail, hospitality, and customer-service are beneficial
  • Naturally social individuals who can start a conversation with a stranger

  • Experience in service, reception, or front-desk roles

Responsibilities

  • Working the service drive and lounge, greeting Subaru owners who are in for service
  • Pulling each guest's Trade Up Advantage sheet from CareConnect and walking them through it in plain, friendly language
  • Telling people what a great decision their Subaru was, and showing them where they stand on trading up
  • Introducing guests who want an exact value, want to see other vehicles, or want to go further to a sales rep to continue the conversation
  • Following up and keeping track of conversations to be a familiar face when a guest is ready
  • Maintaining honesty and informing guests if trading up is not right for them at the moment
