About The Position

Method Technologies is seeking a Client Account Executive who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, discussing strategy, and helping clients navigate technology. This role is ideal for someone who finds satisfaction in making clients feel organized, supported, and confident in their technology environment. The Account Executive will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, becoming a trusted advisor for complex or critical technology issues. The position is suited for individuals who are proactive, enjoy thoughtful problem-solving, and appreciate technology and communication. Method Technologies is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) that helps businesses run, support, secure, and improve their technology environments. The Account Executive role focuses on building strong relationships, leading meaningful conversations, guiding clients in making smart technology decisions, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure progress. This is not a commissioned sales role; the focus is on existing and prospective clients, future planning, security and infrastructure strategy, and reviewing ongoing initiatives. The role involves helping clients understand the long-term implications of technology decisions.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours a week minimum.
  • Must live in the Southern California area.
  • 3 or more years of professional office experience is desired.
  • Consistency in job history as well as qualified experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to lead meetings, present recommendations, discuss budgets, explain security concerns, and help clients understand technical conversations without sounding robotic, condescending, or like you swallowed a cybersecurity blog.
  • Comfortable talking to people in a calm, professional, relationship-building way.
  • Organized enough to juggle multiple clients, ongoing initiatives, follow-ups, recommendations, renewals, and strategic conversations.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong attention to punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
  • Interested in technology, comfortable discussing cybersecurity, infrastructure, IT strategy, business operations, and technology planning with confidence and curiosity.
  • Ready to jump into the MSP world, which moves fast and has many moving pieces.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic relationship owner for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding ongoing initiatives, priorities, and business objectives.
  • Act as an escalation point for client concerns requiring coordination or strategic guidance.
  • Advocate internally for client needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead recurring strategic business review meetings (vCIO reviews) with clients.
  • Discuss technology strategy, operational alignment, budgeting, security posture, and future planning initiatives.
  • Develop and present technology recommendations and roadmaps aligned with client business goals.
  • Help clients prioritize technology investments, security improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Review client environments proactively to identify strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations resulting from recurring security assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and solutions aligned with client needs and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, recommendations, and strategic solution plans.
  • Support strategic growth of managed services within assigned accounts through proactive account management.
  • Respond to new client inquiries and participate in discovery discussions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Work closely with Project and Service teams to align strategic recommendations with operational execution.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive client and company information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams in both routine and high-pressure situations.
  • Participate in onsite and virtual client meetings as needed.
  • Continue learning about technology, security, and industry best practices to better support our clients.
