About The Position

Turner Industries Group has an opening for a Clerk to join our team in Pensacola, FL. The Clerical position provides general clerical support, documentation, checking and assistance in office and/or field areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience or equivalent combinations of experience and training
  • Knowledge of business machines, computers and/or menu driven applications
  • Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Nice To Haves

  • May be required to have knowledge of computer software such as Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic clerical functions including filing, copying, binding reports, typing, and checking documentation, invoices, correspondence, etc.
  • Handles, sorts, distributes, delivers, and picks up mail.
  • Proofreads records or forms.
  • Operates business machines such as calculators, typewriters, computers, facsimile machines, copiers, etc.
  • Receives and coordinates storage of packages, office supply deliveries, etc.
  • May answer, screen, and direct telephone calls.
  • May compile and prepare various reports.
  • May coordinate and process general administrative work, for example, time sheets, vacation requests, supply requisitions, etc.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
  • Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
