About The Position

Allen Turner Automotive is looking for a motivated Automotive Billing Clerk to join their team at Allen Turner Hyundai in Pensacola, FL. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the Accounting Department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring smooth communication between departments and management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of accounting required
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn and assist across departments
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive billing strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of DMV titling processes and regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Examine vehicle contracts to ensure conformity with company, state, and lender requirements
  • Post New and Used vehicle deals to accounting records in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Issue checks for lien payoffs and submit required documents to financial institutions
  • Review and submit finance and insurance (F&I) products to warranty providers
  • Review and submit incentive and rebate claims to the vehicle manufacturer
  • Reconcile assigned accounting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Run, review, balance, and interpret financial reports daily and at month end
  • Collaborate with finance and sales departments to ensure all deal paperwork is accurate and complete
  • Maintain organized and compliant records of deals, product submissions, and rebate claims
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of accounting and dealership operations
