Requirements

• High school education required
• 3-5 years’ experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform the primary thinking encompassed by this job description.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Answer Phones
• Greet visitors
• Receive and sign for incoming freight
• Check trucks in and out
• Keep log up for loaders
• Enter Shipping information on BOL’s PGI shipments
• Verify product on truck and take pictures if Supervisor is gone
• Daily billing Balance totals to Bill edit List
• Prepare daily ship log to send out to CSR and AP
• Prepare various spreadsheets regarding shipping
• Help with cycle counts
• Maintain files – customer, production, misc
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Plant Manager
• Print daily loads for shipping
• Book trucks to pick up daily loads
• Set delivery appointment with customers
• Check any problems with CT Logistics on payment of invoices
• E-mail daily loads from plant to Logistics Manager
