The role involves commuting to other locations, thus requiring reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of liability insurance. The candidate must be computer literate with a typing speed of 35-40 WPM. Essential abilities include critical thinking, reasoning, and utilizing common sense when interacting with diverse individuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary, with bilingual proficiency being a plus. A minimum of one year of clerical experience is required. The role also involves assisting in report preparation, maintaining schedules and appointments, professionally greeting and directing visitors, and properly channeling telephone calls. The ability to perform confidential clerical duties is essential. Regular and timely attendance is mandatory, along with a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Occasional lifting and/or moving of over 25 pounds, and the ability to sit for extended periods are also required. All related duties as assigned must be performed. A background check is required, ensuring no convictions or court-ordered supervision/probation for any criminal offense classified as a Class B misdemeanor or higher. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
