About The Position

Requirements
- Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason
- Data entry and computer skills required (MS Office required, SAP desired)
- Ability to follow standardized work processes
- Passion for details
- Cooperative teamwork
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Fluency in English
- Ability to operate equipment and tools (e.g., laptop, cell phone, scanners)
- Ability to work in a plant and office environment
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, vibration, wet and humid weather conditions
- Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and use appropriate support equipment for greater amounts
- Personal Protective Equipment must be worn on the shop floor to prevent injury
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing and walking

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation supporting individual counts
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
- Assist in MRO part activities as directed by VW management
- Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization
- Achieve operational excellence for strategic indicators
- Communicate with VW Management
- Foster a safe work environment
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by VW Supervisor/Team Lead
- Issue requested materials to customers and prioritize line down conditions
- Document stockouts
- Enter issued materials into SAP
- Put away and label parts with VW unique numbers
- Expedite material-related issues
- Transfer materials physically and systematically in SAP
