About The Position

The Clerk Inventory is responsible for tracking full goods, pallet, and shells throughout the respective system. This role involves daily counting of materials in stock and posting totals to inventory records, comparing physical inventory against book inventory, and verifying clerical computations against physical counts. The clerk will adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies. Additionally, the role performs weekly date code checks to ensure product rotation and monitors all outgoing and incoming full good shipments, reconciling them with SAP. Appropriate duties as assigned by management will also be performed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job

• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Frequent standing and walking
• Repeated typing and keying
• Ability to demonstrate initiative
• Ability to demonstrate analytical, planning, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Counts materials in stock and posts totals to inventory records daily
• Compares physical inventory against book inventory
