Clerk II - Night Shift

About The Position

The Clerk II supports warehouse operations by handling and moving materials, completing packaging, routing, and systems work accurately and promptly, and following established procedures and safety practices. The role participates in the Lean warehousing system and stand-up activities with cross-functional teams. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 5:15 p.m. to 3:45 a.m., with Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off. The job involves physical warehouse work, including lifting, bending, standing or walking for extended periods, handling equipment, and working in hot or cold environments.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
Experience operating material handling equipment.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed.
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
Ensure packaging, routing, and systems work is completed quickly and accurately.
Participate in and guide the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor.
Complete tasks by following established procedures.
Ensure all work is performed safely.
Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.
