About The Position

As a Clerk II at GXO, you will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly and support the delivery of supply chain solutions to customers. The position involves handling and moving materials, completing packaging, routing, and systems work accurately, following established procedures, working safely, and participating in Lean warehousing and cross-functional team activities.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of more than 75 pounds, along with a range of physical activities and the ability to work in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed.
• 2 years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Complete packaging, routing, and systems work quickly and accurately.
• Participate in and guide the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor.
• Complete tasks by following established procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed safely.
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.
