About The Position

Our Level 1 team member position is a customer facing role. Level 1 team members are expected to provide thoughtful, engaging and solution-based customer service, demonstrate superior product knowledge, enjoy being part of team, support the overall sales goals and take pride in maintaining a well merchandised, organized, and clean store. Level 1 team members should display a desire to learn and grow with us.

Requirements

  • Effectively build relationships with our customers, your peers and leadership
  • Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
  • Work a flexible schedule based on store needs including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of equipment operation such as computer terminal, telephone, calculator, printer, etc.
  • Take constructive criticism and advice
  • Professionally convey any disagreements and concerns
  • Confidence to ask clarifying questions if unsure
  • Strong alphabetization skills
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Support and comply with all Bull Moose safety standards
  • Observe and follow all Bull Moose policies and established procedures
  • Treat all teammates with fairness, dignity, and respect
  • Verify all customer IDs presented and observe store policies pertaining to the acceptance of buybacks
  • Ability to learn new tasks with hands on training
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors

Nice To Haves

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
  • Greet all customers and provide them with prompt courteous service and assistance.
  • Approach customers on the salesfloor
  • Record (scan) the purchases of a customer into the cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Collect money in the forms of cash or checks from customers and tender accurate change in accordance with Bull Moose policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
  • Inspire trust, teamwork, and positive team relationships
  • Promote our Bull Moose Frequent Buyer rewards program during customer interactions
  • Remain energetic and upbeat
  • Answer incoming and make outgoing phone calls
  • Act in line with our values and guiding principles
  • Be open to feedback and take action as required
  • Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
