About The Position

Employee Store Clerk services the needs of the employees and the business guests visiting the facilities each day. The Employee Store Clerk strives to offer co-workers and guests great customer service and product selection. Employee Store Clerk will provide prompt and courteous service to our customers. Employee Store Clerk is approachable, seeks to understand our customers’ needs, and provides exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Must maintain a neat appearance
• Must have customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have problem-solving skills
• Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry 40-50 pounds; may require overhead lifting.
• Requires bending, stooping, and twisting
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, fellow co-workers, and function effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and remain calm
• Must have basic math skills
• Must be able to operate a cash register and give accurate change
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

Nice To Haves

• Leadership/Ability to take initiative
• General retail knowledge is a plus
• Retail Sales work experience is preferred but not required
