Cass County North Dakota is seeking a full-time Clerical Supervisor - Office Admin to join our Extension Department team. This full-time position supports important 4-H and agricultural programs in partnership with NDSU. Requirements

• Experience with desktop publishing and office operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage budgets, staff, and multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree in secretarial training or related vocational education is preferred.
• Familiarity with Extension Service operations, 4-H programs, and Microsoft Dynamics software is also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small office and supervise support staff to ensure all programs and agents have the help they need.
• Approve leave requests.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain communication between the team and leadership.
• Manage the department's budget.
• Process invoices.
• Track funding for grants, especially for the Parenting Resource Center.
• Design newsletters, flyers, and event materials using desktop publishing software.
• Assist with events like the 4-H Horse Show and Farm Safety Day Camp, handling registrations and creating materials.
