About The Position

The Remote Clerical File Representative is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and retrieving digital files and records to support business operations. This role focuses on file management, document organization, and clerical support, ensuring records are accurate, accessible, and properly maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in clerical work, file management, or data entry
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Reliable internet connection and computer setup

Responsibilities

  • Organize, sort, and maintain digital files and records
  • Upload, label, and categorize documents in file management systems
  • Retrieve files and documents upon request from team members
  • Review files for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting
  • Perform data entry related to file tracking and indexing
  • Ensure proper version control and document updates
  • Archive outdated or inactive records according to company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents
  • Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks
