Requirements
- Experience using a multi-line phone system.
- Exceptional phone etiquette.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with numbers.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work individually and as a team contributor.
- Organized, reliable work ethic.
- Proficient typing skills to navigate various software programs, phone system, internet, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of clerical experience in a legal, medical, or other professional services environment is preferred.
- Medical and/or legal terminology knowledge beneficial.
- Familiarity with medical billing/coding beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Daily phone contact with client medical providers.
- Daily contact with case management staff.
- Accurately confirm & document all case-related medical charges, payments/adjustments, and balances.
- Request medical records.
- Utilize the case management software for timely data entry.
- Timely response to attorneys and case management team.
- Follow-up on outstanding requests, including emails and phone calls.
- Follow-up on outstanding requests when requested by attorneys and case managers.
- Assist with updating provider contact information.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
