You will manage tasks that support hearings, case files, and communication with the public.

Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to telework part-time, upon successful completion of the training period.
  • Must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania to telework.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule hearings and mediations and prepare courtrooms for in-person and virtual proceedings
  • Arrange interpreter, security, and court reporter services according to policy
  • Prepare, file, and organize documents, correspondence, and transcripts in digital and hard copy formats
  • Process appealed decision files and type and format decisions in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain caseloads, complete tasks, and distribute correspondence using the Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS)
  • Respond to questions from external sources by phone, email, mail, or through WCAIS and direct inquiries appropriately
