About The Position

The Clearance Lead is responsible for real-time analysis, assisting with the coordination and balancing of DC Clearance/Shipping operations, and assisting in the balancing of manpower for all areas. This role assigns picking/loading tasks for all production employees, supports the Clearance/Shipping Manager to ensure all tasks flow smoothly for the production crew, accurately records and reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveries, and supports the Clearance/Shipping Manager to ensure all End of Day (EOD) tasks are completed. The role also involves reporting, researching, and resolving issues that occur in the interface between the host system and WMS, providing administrative support for the Clearance/Shipping Manager, and developing and maintaining a working knowledge of all needed systems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.
