About The Position

The Cleanroom Technician is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role performs scheduled cleanroom duties, maintains assigned work areas, uses motorized cleaning equipment, and follows applicable safety protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules. The technician works with other employees, takes direction from supervisors, and supports shift leads with punch-list items. Other duties may be assigned, and responsibilities may change.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily and safely.
A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs. Employees who drive as part of their duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform cleanroom duties and all duties listed on the daily schedule.
Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain the daily upkeep of assigned areas.
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and stop at-risk behavior by oneself or others.
Work as part of a team and perform repetitive tasks.
Maintain a clean work area and follow protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
Use proper personal protective equipment and maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Understand customer service and satisfaction, reporting systems, and the environment.
