About The Position
We are hiring immediately for a full time CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN position. This role is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment in the clean room by garbing, cleaning the room, and adhering to clean room procedures that align with the facilities' practices or guidelines. The position involves working in a temperature-controlled environment with potential exposure to cold conditions for extended periods. Compass Group is committed to diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- Previous experience with sweeps, pickup, and disposal.
- Clean manufacturing equipment experience required.
- Ensure Adherence to all GMP.
- High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedure Documents (SOPs).
- Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing and/or safety equipment.
Responsibilities
- Practices efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions preparation, equipment and tool operation.
- Performs all decontamination cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor with high level of consistency, accuracy and reliability.
- Executes cleanroom cleaning SOPs.
- Maintains documentation on all activities and frequent (often daily) quality control testing and verifies the efficiency of the work performed.
- Monitor and maintain the stock of cleanroom garments and cleaning materials when applicable.
- Monitor and manage contamination sources within the cleanroom environment including materials and personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
