Cleanroom Technician
About The Position
The Cleanroom Tech will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned. This role requires performing cleanroom duties, operating motorized cleaning equipment, and maintaining daily upkeep of assigned areas. The technician must also report incidents and hazardous conditions to their supervisor, comply with all safety rules and procedures, and stop at-risk behavior of themselves and others. Work is performed in a team environment, involving repetitive tasks and maintaining a clean work area while adhering to all protocols and company policies. Effective communication with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers is essential, as is the ability to fill in during staff shortages and support shift leads. A professional appearance, conduct, and understanding of customer service are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 6 months – 1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license
