About The Position
FM Industries is a premier manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build to print, precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings. They provide customers with leading-edge support from prototype to production. This role involves assembling simple to complex electro-mechanical, vacuum assemblies, throttle valves, sub-assemblies, cathodes, and cooling units, as well as performing basic leak tests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 0-2 years direct related electro-mechanical, vacuum assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities
- Assemble simple to complex electro-mechanical, vacuum assemblies, throttle valves, sub-assemblies, cathodes, and cooling units.
- Perform basic leak tests.
- Position parts according to Operational Method Sheets (OMS).
- Inspect components for damage and finish quality.
- Perform vacuum and pressure leak tests.
- Determine availability of components and subassemblies to be used in the assembly process.
