Cleanroom Protocol Observer
About The Position
The Cleanroom Protocol Observer monitors activities throughout the day to ensure cleanroom protocols and regulations are followed. The role involves patrolling multiple cleanrooms at a job site, wearing the required personal protective equipment, and observing and reporting safety violations in the FAB area. The observer escalates issues to a supervisor, submits a daily safety report at the end of each shift, provides customer service, and assists the team and supervisor with other tasks as needed. This role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. ABM encourages veterans and candidates with military experience to apply.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments, if applicable, including a ten-year work history if available.
- English is required.

- One year of similar work experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand all policies for working in the cleanrooms.
- Wear all required cleanroom personal protective equipment throughout the shift, such as gowns, face masks, gloves, and protective eyewear.
- Patrol multiple cleanrooms at the job site and observe daily activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a calm demeanor throughout the shift.
- Observe and report safety violations within the FAB area, escalating situations to a supervisor immediately.
- Submit a daily safety report to the supervisor at the end of each shift.
- Assist the team and supervisor with other tasks as needed.
