About The Position

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE), a joint venture between Worthington Enterprises and Armstrong World Industries, has established worldwide leadership in the production of suspended ceiling systems. WAVE produces metal ceiling grids that can be combined with Armstrong ceiling boards as a complete package or sold individually. WAVE is currently looking for a Night Shift Cleanroom Operator team member to join our team! Schedule will be: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Requirements

Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds
Able to stand 8-10 hours per day at assigned work area
Background check required

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED Preferred
knowledge and experience of machinery in manufacturing environment, or similar Preferred
previous job training as Level 2 Packout Operator

Responsibilities

Maintain continuous operations of clean room equipment; machine setup and adjustments, equipment operation, and maintaining operating schedule.
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance production.
Perform visual and gauge-specific quality inspections of parts, and make corrective actions as required.
Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using inspection tools.
Perform basic machine preventive maintenance on equipment.
Perform production inventory counts.
Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
Perform all work in a safe manner; use proper lock-out procedures during repairs or machine adjustments.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and make certain that all safety equipment is in proper working order.
Perform these and other related duties as assigned or directed.
Actively participate in communication and WAVE culture.
Preserve a safe work environment and work in a safe manner following all safety SOPs.
