About The Position

As part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Cleanline Assembler II contributes to work that supports the company’s mission to help make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Cleanline associates work at the heart of the cleanroom, cleaning and processing parts for manufacturing while meeting high quality standards. The position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom standards. The work environment may include loud equipment and machinery noises and requires personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gowning, gloves, a lab coat and ear plugs. Cleanroom restrictions prohibit hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings and facial hair.

The role is scheduled for second shift (afternoons). Employees must be able to stand or sit for an eight-hour shift and move up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required (NA or APAC); High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent (EMEA).
• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory setting, or related field.
• Attention to detail.
• Communication skills.
• Dexterity to work with small parts.
• Able to stand or sit for an eight-hour shift.
• Able to move 30 pounds.
• Adherence to cleanroom restrictions, including no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, or facial hair.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a Cleanline or QA department.
