About The Position

The Cleaning Validation Intern will support Novo Nordisk’s Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) facility as part of the NNPILP Early Talent Summer Internship Program. The ten-week program provides hands-on, full-time work experience and meaningful project work alongside experienced pharmaceutical industry professionals. Interns also participate in instructor-led training, leadership engagement activities, and lunch-and-learn sessions.

The intern will generate cleaning monitoring reports, manage the cleaning monitoring program, and develop tools and process improvements. The program is scheduled to run from May 17, 2027, through July 23, 2027. No overnight travel is required.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.

Nice To Haves

• Engineering or a related major is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write monthly cleaning monitoring reports for each track, as well as quarterly and annual reports.
• Gather data from Pi Vision, batch reports, and gLIMS, and evaluate reproducibility for CIPs.
• Plan cleaning monitoring samples for the year and work with planners to schedule them.
• Work with Operations to ensure samples are collected and documented correctly.
• Track additional samples that are not related to cleaning monitoring, create samples, and print gLIMS labels.
• Develop cleaning validation control charts and other tools.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Perform process confirmations.
