About The Position

Infineon is seeking interns to contribute to the development of tiny chips and build significant careers. Whether through Graduate Programs or a first full-time role, Infineon provides the necessary tools, trust, and challenges for rapid growth and advancement. This internship focuses on hands-on testing of mixed-signal power ICs, supporting the development of validation plans, and analyzing test results with design teams.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits; power electronics background is a plus
  • Familiarity with benchtop test equipment such as power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as LabVIEW, Python, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative and detail-oriented mindset
  • US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hands-on testing of mixed-signal power ICs using automated and manual methods
  • Support development of validation plans and define equipment setup requirements
  • Work with design teams to analyze test results and identify root causes of bugs
