Requirements

Report to work each day on time.
Work extra hours when needed.
Comply with proper safety policies and procedures (e.g., using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents).

Determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
Employees working in medical facilities are required to wear a mask and gloves during the entirety of their shift.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of the building by performing various cleaning duties.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors, and replenish supplies.
Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and may be required to scrub, wax, and polish floors.
Clean and disinfect break rooms/kitchenettes, including sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators, and replenish supplies.
Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions.
Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport them to the disposal area.
Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner.
Wash walls and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
