About The Position

As a Cleaning Technician, you will maintain a clean and sanitized environment for members and guests. This role involves cleaning and maintaining the facility’s entrance, locker rooms, weight room, cardio areas, group fitness studios, and storage and mop rooms. You will also replenish supplies and report broken equipment or facility issues. The employer describes the role as an opportunity for positive team players to join its team.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• General understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to communicate positively with potential members, current members, club guests, and FITWORKS team members.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to be trained on FITWORKS systems and processes.
• Desire to achieve set goals and metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the outdoor front entrance area; vacuum, mop, and clean windows.
• Clean the men’s and women’s locker rooms, including sinks, counters, mirrors, urinal and stall areas, lockers, and carpets; replace air fresheners.
• Clean the weight room, including removing dumbbells from racks and cleaning racks, benches, frames, mirrors, doorway frames, sanitizer holders, and paper towel dispensers.
• Clean the cardio floor and cardio cinema by wiping down treadmill, elliptical, and bike surfaces and vacuuming under treadmills and throughout the area.
• Dust and mop Group Fitness Studios A and B, clean windows, and clean the storage area.
• Wipe down paper towel dispensers and hand sanitizer stands.
• Refill empty paper towel dispensers and disinfectant bottles, and replace broken triggers.
• Clean storage and mop rooms.
• Report and log broken equipment and facility issues, such as chipped paint or blown bulbs.
