This specific role is for a Cleaning Technician in Eagle River, WI (Wausau Operations Non-Medical). The position is part-time, with a schedule of Monday-Wednesday-Friday, approximately 25 hours per week. This account follows a fixed-rate pay structure per clean. Cleaning Technicians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building by performing various cleaning duties. Duties and hours may vary depending on the size of the building and the number of teammates. Tasks may change throughout employment.

Requirements

  • Reports to work each day and on time.
  • Works extra hours when needed.
  • Complies with proper safety policies and procedures (e.g., when using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents).
  • Provides excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Determines the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.

Nice To Haves

  • Employees working in medical facilities are required to wear a mask and gloves during the entirety of their shift.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. in restrooms and replenishes bathroom supplies. Polishes metalwork.
  • Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. May also be responsible for scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
  • Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc. in break rooms/kitchenettes and replenishes supplies.
  • Dusts furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
  • Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports them to the disposal area.
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Washes walls and woodwork.
  • Washes windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.
