Cleaning Technician- Ashland, WI (Wausau Operations Non-Medical)

This position is for a Cleaning Technician responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building by performing various cleaning duties. Duties and hours may vary depending on the size of the building and the number of teammates. Tasks may also change throughout employment.
Requirements
- Reports to work each day and on time.
- Works extra hours when needed.
- Complies with proper safety policies and procedures (e.g., when using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents).
- Determines the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
- Employees working in medical facilities are required to wear a mask and gloves during the entirety of their shift.

Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. in restrooms and replenishes bathroom supplies. Polishes metalwork.
- Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. May also be required to scrub, wax, and polish floors.
- Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc. in break rooms/kitchenettes and replenishes supplies.
- Dusts furniture, equipment, and partitions.
- Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports them to the disposal area.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner.
- Washes walls and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
