About The Position

KleenMark is hiring a part-time Cleaning Technician for its Milwaukee Operations Medical site in Glendale. The role maintains building cleanliness through a variety of cleaning duties, which may vary based on building size, staffing, and operational needs. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Duties include cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, break rooms, and kitchenettes; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and potentially scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors; dusting; emptying waste and recycling; and cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, walls, woodwork, windows, doors, and partitions. Employees must follow safety procedures, provide positive customer service, and assess the quality and thoroughness of their assigned work. Employees working in medical facilities must wear a mask and gloves throughout their shift; necessary personal protective equipment is provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform other floor care such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing when required.
• Clean and disinfect break-room and kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators; replenish supplies.
• Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions.
• Empty wastebaskets and recycling containers and transport waste to the disposal area.
• Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, including hip or backpack vacuums.
• Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
• Report to work on time and work extra hours when needed.
• Follow applicable safety policies and procedures, including those for cleaning chemicals and incident reporting.
• Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers and evaluate the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
• Wear a mask and gloves throughout the shift when working in a medical facility.
