Cleaning Technician - Marshfield, WI (Wausau Operations-Non Medical)
About The Position
KleenMark is hiring a Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness of a building in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role involves detailed cleaning and disinfecting, attention to detail, and general cleaning duties. Responsibilities and hours may vary depending on the building and team size, and tasks may change during employment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a part-time, second-shift position. Employees are expected to report to work on time each day and work extra hours when needed. They must follow applicable safety policies and procedures, maintain a positive attitude while providing customer service, and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough. Requirements
- Attention to detail and the ability to determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
- Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures, including those for using cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform other floor work as required, including scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
- Clean and disinfect break-room or kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, and other surfaces; replenish supplies.
- Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, and other areas.
- Empty wastebaskets and recycling containers and transport waste to the disposal area.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, including a hip or backpack vacuum.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
- Report to work on time, follow safety policies and procedures, and work extra hours when needed.
