About The Position

FCS Services is a nationwide janitorial and facilities management company operating across 10+ states. We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and leadership-minded Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our 3rd shift team at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The Cleaning Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, supervising employees, coordinating staffing and assignments, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that all work is completed safely and according to company and client expectations. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage employees, communicate with management and client representatives, resolve operational issues, and ensure the team consistently meets performance and service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, facilities management, hospitality, or a related service environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and employee performance.
  • Dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and client representatives.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within company guidelines.
  • Must be available to work 3rd shift, including weekends.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and required airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide daily direction to cleaning employees.
  • Coordinate employee assignments, schedules, staffing, and shift coverage.
  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure work areas meet company and client standards.
  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to employees.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and airport regulations.
  • Monitor overall cleaning operations and address issues that may impact service quality.
  • Communicate operational updates, staffing concerns, and employee performance issues to management.
  • Maintain professional communication with airport client representatives.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client concerns and operational requests.
  • Complete required reports, inspections, attendance records, and other supervisory documentation.
  • Monitor supplies and equipment needs and communicate shortages or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Promote a professional, safe, and productive work environment.
  • Ensure employees maintain proper uniforms, identification, and professional conduct while on duty.
  • Address operational and employee issues promptly and escalate matters to management when necessary.
  • Perform other supervisory duties as assigned by management.
