About The Position

Rinse is building the first and largest national, and eventually global, brand in clothing care. We're taking on a massive consumer problem and creating a significantly better dry cleaning and laundry experience through the combination of "smart scheduling" and best-in-class quality, all supported by a strong technology backbone. Applicants will be required to submit to a criminal background, a DMV check and Zipcar check prior to commencing employment. As a member of our Daytime Operations Logistics team, you will safely operate various vehicle types, including, but not limited to cargo vans, 16-foot box trucks, and potentially upwards of 26-foot box trucks to manage daily laundry pickups and transfers using Uline mobile shelving across the NYC area. In addition to transportation responsibilities, you will learn about Rinse’s cleaning operation and grow to work with and support our various partners to help them grow and scale. Also, you will support warehouse delivery preparation operations to ensure all customer orders are accurately inventoried, staged, and ready for on-time delivery. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational flow and upholding Rinse quality standards, while also representing the company through professional interactions with our cleaning partners. Requirements

A good driving record
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to overcome challenges and effectively solve problems
Thrive in ultra-fast-paced environments and keep cool under pressure
Are proficient in Google Applications and iOS devices
1-2 years of truck driving experience
1-2 years of customer service experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely drive Rinse’s 16’ and 26’ box trucks (Previous truck driving experience required) as well as cargo vans
Scan orders in the Rinse warehouse/Cleaning Partner’s facility and load them onto the necessary vehicle
Travel to multiple locations to pickup and dropoff laundry, supplies, and other items as needed
Work with our Cleaning Operations team to troubleshoot, support, and train our various partners as needed
Spend time in laundromats and dry cleaners learning Rinse Operations.
Supporting our partners as needed for achieving cleaning targets and KPIs
Support delivery preparation operations and allocate orders to their assigned racks.
Communicate Proficiently through Slack.
Be open to further training opportunities and responsibilities as you grow.
