About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. The associate will operate cleaning equipment, perform various cleaning tasks, and adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This position also involves cross-training in multiple areas of the store to support business needs and embodying a positive store culture.

Responsibilities

Maintain floor care cleanliness standards, including the operation of the scrubber and buffer.
Perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning of glass and windows.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms).
Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
Be cross-trained in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.) and support Front End coverage needs.
Adhere to and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.
Adhere to all operational and loss prevention controls, including shrink reduction.
Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
