About The Position
Realstar is seeking a part-time Cleaner to work at one of their apartment buildings. This position is for an existing vacant role and involves 20 hours of work per week, including some weekends. The company has been providing investment and property management services for 50 years and is one of Canada's largest multi-residential asset managers.
Requirements
- 1-2 years related experience
- Customer service skills
- A pleasant demeanour
- Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform in a team environment
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping
- Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies
- Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property
- Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction
- Perform other duties as assigned
