About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will be a frontline associate providing commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations. The role focuses on standard custodial and janitorial tasks, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. You will work with other employees, follow direction from cleaning leads and supervisors, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Be a team player and be committed to working in a quality environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Be able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Be able to lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Be able to climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and edge floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures, and use proper personal protective equipment.
• Work as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and rules, and respond to direction and supervision.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages.
• Support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct and contribute to customer service and satisfaction.
• Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
