About The Position

This role is responsible for performing general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. The Cleaner will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards. The position requires physical stamina and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, hallways, and other facility spaces.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and other restroom or facility items as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, surfaces, furniture, and high-touch areas following safety and sanitation procedures.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, including vacuums, floor machines, and other janitorial tools.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, safety concerns, or supply needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain professionalism while working around employees, customers, or visitors.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Follow company policies, union guidelines, and workplace procedures.
