About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will provide commercial cleaning services at client locations, performing standard custodial and janitorial tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Applicants must be able to pass a background check. The role involves working with other employees, following safety practices and company procedures, and communicating professionally with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Be willing to take direction from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, edging, dusting, wiping, and waste removal.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and use proper personal protective equipment.
• Work as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and rules; take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with the lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and contribute to customer satisfaction and trust.
• Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
