About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. The position involves operating cleaning equipment, performing various cleaning tasks, and adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. The cleaner will also be cross-trained to support other areas of the store as needed, contributing to a positive store culture and ensuring adherence to all company policies, including health and safety.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written. Listens and responds appropriately.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
- Operating the scrubber and buffer.
- Dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
- Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
- Cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
- Maintaining all floor care cleanliness standards.
- Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms).
- Adhering to all company policies concerning Health and Safety.
- Supporting and responding to all Front End coverage needs.
- Adhering to and upholding merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed.
- Adhering to all operational and loss prevention controls.
- Communicating accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
