About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned national janitorial and maintenance company, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable cleaner to work at a client site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and also works well as part of a team. The position involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, with additional duties as assigned. The schedule is 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Thursday through Sunday. Pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
