About The Position

Killam Apartment REIT is seeking a customer-focused, energetic Cleaner to join their team at 321 Westminster Avenue in London. This is a full-time position. Killam Apartment REIT is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.5 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy focuses on increasing earnings from the existing portfolio, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proven communication skills, both written and oral

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset
• Valid driver's license and access to vehicle is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste
• Wash windows and interior walls
• Pick up garbage
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Clean vacant units
• Complete minor maintenance repairs
• Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair
• Other duties as required
